Moneé Sanders didn’t just step into leadership; she redefined it!
At just 19 years old, she became one of the first Black women in history to serve as President of a nonprofit organization focused on autoimmune diseases, transforming what began as a personal mission into a growing national movement.
Before leading an organization, Moneé was deeply immersed in cosmetology, beauty and science. As a Master Cosmetologist, National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomist, she studied the blood, the immune system, and the complexities behind autoimmune conditions gaining firsthand understanding of how diseases like alopecia, lupus, and cancer impact the body at a clinical level, not just cosmetically.
But what she saw went far beyond science.
She saw patients navigating conditions that affected not only their health but their identity, finances, confidence, and quality of life. She saw families searching for answers, support, and access to care that simply didn’t exist in one place.
And she made a decision:
To build what was missing.
That decision became Alopecian Beauty Co.
Today, the organization serves individuals and families across multiple cities including Atlanta, New York, and Chicago, with programs rooted in life science education, health equity, patient support, and community-based healthcare innovation.
Moneé has grown into a global keynote speaker, using her voice to advocate for autoimmune awareness, youth pathways into life sciences, and equitable access to care. She has been featured on multiple news platforms across several states, recognized nationally; including being named to the Entreprenista100 Best Community led Business award presented by Chase Ink, Graduating Truist/Operation Hope Program, and continues to engage leaders across healthcare, philanthropy, and government.
Under her leadership, Alopecian Beauty Co is advancing programs that have already:
• Supported 10,000+ individuals and families impacted by autoimmune disease and cancer
• Engaged 100+ youth in life science education and career exposure
• Built a growing presence across 3 major U.S. cities with national expansion underway
But this is only the beginning.
Moneé is now leading a bold initiative to raise $1,000,000 through the Medical Center Fund, the first step toward developing a network of 25 medical centers across the United States and internationally dedicated to alopecia, lupus, and cancer care.
These centers will integrate:
• Clinical support
• Autoimmune research partnerships
• Patient wellness and education programs
• Youth life science pathways
Because she believes the future of healthcare must go beyond treatment.
It must connect science, access, and humanity.
What started with one vision at 19 years old
is now becoming a scalable, national and soon global health equity movement.
And for Moneé, the mission remains simple:
Create Smiles Daily.
Advance Life Science.
Transform Lives.
